Banana Waffles

Description

These naturally sweet waffles are a delight. Bananas, besides being scrumptious, are rich in potassium and vitamin C.

Ingredients

 
1 banana
1 cup
water
1 cup
soy milk
1 teaspoon
vanilla extract
1 1⁄2 cup
flour
1⁄2 cup
rolled oat flakes
2 teaspoons
baking powder
1 teaspoon
cinnamon
1⁄2 teaspoon
nutmeg (optional)

Instructions

In a food processor, blend the banana and water until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and blend until well combined. Spoon into a well oiled, hot waffle iron. Repeat until batter is gone. Makes 4-8 waffles depending on the size of your waffle iron.
