Pesach is the time of year when we celebrate our liberation from Egypt. At your Seder this year, these creative takes on traditional dishes will help to include those who might otherwise be overlooked in the struggle for liberation.
Although none of these dishes contain chametz, a few do include some kitniyot. Though kitniyot is now permissible in the Reform and Conservative movements (and has always been permissible for Sephardic Jews), we recommend you use your discretion in deciding if some of these recipes are right for your membership.
- Matzo Brei
- Kale, Radish, and Avocado Salad
- Roasted Potato and Fennel Soup
- Cinnamon Roasted Veggies with Cauliflower Couscous
- Chocolate Dipped Macaroons
